Police arrested Shawne Merrimen at early Sunday morning for he is the main suspect of physical assault toward a model and TV personality, Tila Tequila. Now Shawne Merrimen is imprisoned in San Diego County Jail.
Tila Nguyen, the real name of Tila Tequila, called a police at 3:45 a.m, saying that Merrimen choked and physically restrained her. She added that Merrimen avoided her to leave his house, and signed a citizens arrest at the scene, charging him with battery and false imprisonment.
Merrimen on 2006 for being caught using steroid as the result he was suspended for four games at the times, it was a year after his winning defensive Rookie of the Year at 2005. And at 2008, a knee injury forced him to went through knee surgery which made him miss almost the entire season after conflicting information floated around training camp and preseason about whether or not he’d be able to play.
